During the day, pupils were transported back to 14^th century BC, stepping into the roles of workers and slaves and taking part in a range of hands-on activities that brought history to life. From embalming rituals and tomb painting to amulet making, they explored key aspects of ancient Egyptian culture and beliefs — with staff also fully joining in by dressing in costume too. The school described the event as a memorable and immersive learning experience for all involved.
