St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust Welcomes St Paul’s Catholic Primary School

The St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust is delighted to announce that St Paul’s Catholic Primary School has officially joined the Trust as its newest member on 1st July 2025. Located in Cheshunt and established in 1972, St Paul’s Catholic Primary School provides education for children from Nursery to Year 6. It becomes the ninth Catholic school to be part of the Trust family.

Mrs Katie Worton-Geer, Headteacher of St Paul’s Catholic Primary School, shared her thoughts at the school’s official conversion: “We are thrilled to now be part of the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust. Becoming part of the Trust opens up new possibilities for our school community, and we are already experiencing the benefits of collaboration and feel proud to be part of the Trust that puts children first and supports schools to thrive.”

Mr Andrew Celano, Chief Executive Officer of the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust, said: “I am delighted that St Paul’s School is now officially a full member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust.  As part of St Paul’s decision to join our Trust, over the last 18 months we have been able to increasingly include the school in all our Trust developments, activities and collaborations, and so today’s happy news confirms that the special relationship will now flourish for years to come. All our schools are united by our shared vision to deliver the very best possible Catholic education in our area both now and for generations to come, and so the formal addition of St Paul’s into the family represents a real strengthening of that vision and provision; we are blessed by St. Paul’s joining our Trust, and I send the school, staff, governors, parents and pupils my warmest welcome and best wishes.”

Both Mrs Worton-Geer and Mr Celano expressed their gratitude to the staff, governors, and parents of St Paul’s for their continued support of the school.
