St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust took part in two Jubilee Pilgrimage Walk organised by the Diocese of Westminster Education Service on 10th and 17th October 2025 – one for Headteachers, and another for staff members under the Trust. Both groups followed the same pilgrimage route.
The pilgrimage walks offered a meaningful opportunity for participants to engage in reflection, prayer, and faith-filled fellowship among Catholic educators.
Led by Fr Daniel Humphreys, the four-hour pilgrimage began at English Martyrs Catholic Church in Tower Hill and continued through several significant sites, including St Mary Moorfields, Charterhouse Monastery, St Etheldreda’s, Ely Place, and Corpus Christi, Maiden Lane, before concluding at Westminster Cathedral. At each stage of the journey, pilgrims prayed together upon arrival and deepened their understanding of the faith through the stories of the saints who embodied it.
The journey was a powerful reminder of the spiritual heritage that unites the Catholic community and inspired them to continue leading their school communities in faith and service.
