The Most Reverend Richard Moth was today installed as the Twelfth Archbishop of Westminster during a Mass of Installation at Westminster Cathedral on 14 February 2026.
The Mass of Installation followed a Service of Solemn Vespers held in the Cathedral on Friday evening, attended by clergy, religious, and representatives of schools, parishes and Catholic organisations from across the Diocese of Westminster. Among those invited to the Mass were CEO Andrew Celano, Chair Fr Peter Harris and Vice Chair Mary James of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust, together with Deirdre McHugh, Headteacher of St Mary’s Catholic School (a member of the Trust), and several students.
St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust warmly congratulates Archbishop Moth on his installation and assure him of our prayers as he begins his pastoral in the Diocese of Westminster.
