Trust Schools Commemorate Remembrance Day

Nine schools across St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust observed Remembrance Day through a range of services and activities held within their school communities. Each school marked the occasion in a meaningful and reflective way, helping pupils to understand the importance of remembering those who have served and sacrificed.

Some pupils represented their schools at local cenotaphs to lay wreaths on Remembrance Day (11th November 2025) or Remembrance Sunday (9th November 2025). In addition, pupils also learnt about the significance of the poppy, created artwork and remembrance displays.
