  • Our Strategy

We realise our vision by working in accordance with our values, and by delivering a two-fold strategy.

First, we facilitate school-to-school collaboration, and Executive and Central Team-led support and challenge for our school leaders, to deliver excellence through sustainable and transformational school improvement.

Second, behind the educational front line, we provide an Executive and Central Team-led model of operational support - in HR, finance, marketing, IT, health and safety, estates and much else besides - so that our schools can give their fullest attention to teaching and learning.

That strategy is delivered through a comprehensive Trust Provision. In the work of school improvement, we provide development planning and improvement audits, internal and external standards reviews, quality assurance visits and peer reviews, supported by a structured performance management programme for Headteachers and senior leaders.

We invest heavily in our people, developing teachers and support staff through annual Trust conferences, Trust-wide wellbeing and flexible working practices, and both in-school and Trust-wide leadership secondment and performance programmes.

Our curriculum services extend from planning and improvement to the implementation of sustainable education programmes, facilitation of Subject Leader networks, a new primary science curriculum, and the development of Key Stage 2 to 3 transition.

We support governance through Local Governing Body chair conferences and meetings, schedules of business, Trust clerking, Director and Executive attendance at LGB meetings, assistance with senior leadership recruitment, and general advice and guidance throughout the year.

The Catholic life of our schools is sustained through staff formation developing all staff to grow in their understanding of Catholic education and faith, shared Trust events, sacramental celebrations and the great feasts of the liturgical year - Christmas, Easter and Pentecost among them - alongside chaplaincy conferences and retreats.

Our Executive provides bespoke SEND support to every Headteacher and SENDCO, including an annual conference for teaching assistants, to ensure that provision for pupils with special educational needs is consistently excellent; and we support positive pupil behaviour through clear policy and multi-agency working that ensures every pupil’s needs are met.

Safeguarding is overseen through an annual Trust safeguarding planner, with regular meetings and supervision for all Designated Safeguarding Leads and Headteachers.

Beyond the classroom, our operational services give each school the security of professional support. Our HR service shapes the policies, procedures and practice that protect and sustain our workforce, including safer recruitment, employment checks and support in individual cases.

Our IT provision combines a Central Team service with a procured specialist contractor to oversee technology across all our schools. Our Marketing and Admissions team supports everything from prospectuses and websites to social media and pupil-recruitment campaigns.

Our Finance and Risk service runs every element of financial management and risk identification for each school, while delivering significant efficiency gains across the Trust. And our Health, Safety and Estates service provides everything from capital bid expertise and submission to project management, delivery, and the operational oversight that keeps our schools safe.
